How much time should I take off of work after having a cosmetic procedure?

  • You will likey need to take 1 to 4 weeks off of work depending on your surgical procedures and your type of work.

How long will my surgery take?

  • Your surgery time usually ranges from 1 hour to 5 hours depending on your procedure(s).

How soon can I start back to my aerobic class after surgery?

  • You may usually go back to aerobics in about 4 to 6 weeks, once Dr. Kierney has authorized you for this activity.

How many surgeries does Dr. Kierney perform in a year?

  • This varies, but around 750. He specializes in full body cosmetic surgery.

Will there be scars?

  • Incisions are made to blend in with natural body lines.

Is there must pain?

  • Dr. Kierney prescribes medication to keep you comfortable during your recovery period.

How soon can I bathe?

  • Depending on your procedure, you can usually begin to bathe or shower anywhere from 1 day to 1 week following surgery

How will I look after surgery? Will I look better?

  • Dr. Kierney works with each patient to meet his/her realistic expectations and goals. This will be discussed fully at your complimentary consultation.
